25 years ago, on June 18, 1995, JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya won the 24 Hours of Le Mans for McLaren. It was a significant because, it was the McLaren’s first appearance as a constructor. 25 years on, the marque celebrates the victory with a Special Edition McLaren 720S Le Mans Coupe.
Available in a choice of McLaren Orange of Sarthe Grey with orange and grey interior colors, this celebratory supercar features extras like gloss black roof scoop, unique 5-spoke LM wheels, gold-colored brake calipers, carbon fiber racing seats, ‘Ueno Grey’-painted body, carbon fiber louvered front fenders, and ‘McLaren 25 Anniversary Le Mans’ logos around the car – just to name a few.
The Special Edition McLaren 720S Le Mans Coupe is powered by a 720 PS M840T 4.0L V8 twin-turbocharged McLaren engine that enables a century sprint (0-62 mph) in mere 2.9 seconds and a mind-bending top speed of 341 km/h (212 mph). The car is as gorgeous as it is insanely quick.
