Amazon Prime Video Spider-Noir Series Trailer
Prime Video unveils the first full Spider-Noir trailer in authentic black and white, alongside a color version, with Nicolas Cage starring as Ben Reilly in a darker 1930s New York setting ahead of its May 27 release.

You saw the teaser; now brace yourself for a full-on trailer in the most noir way possible: authentic black & white. I am, of course, talking about Spider-Noir. Actually, there’s also a true-hue full-color version of the trailer. After all, it will be presented in two versions when it starts streaming on Prime Video on May 27, 2026. The series features Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The Punisher, Shantaram) as co-showrunners and executive producers. Meanwhile, the production team is the same team behind Spider-Verse.

For the benefit of those who don’t already know, Spider-Noir is set in an alternate version of 1930s New York City during the Great Depression, where Peter Parker does not exist. So, no, this is not related to the animated version of Spider-Man Noir. Instead, it follows the story of Ben Reilly, once the city’s one-and-only superhero, now all but reduced to a destitute old private detective. However, when the past comes back to haunt him, he has no choice but to pick himself up and put on the mask again to face the darkness and decadence that have befallen the city.

Nicolas Cage, who voiced Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, plays the superhero—sometimes referred to as The Spider—in this series made for the Prime streaming platform. His hoarse murmurs, sudden high-pitched screams, and unmistakably melancholy eyes make him a natural fit for a character defined by a darker, more decadent image. Anyhoo, enough of me talking. Keep going to find the trailer in both black & white and true-hue full color.
