When Squasheet pops in our inbox, I knew we have to feature it. Why? Because, the struggle of folding fitted sheet is very real. More so, if you are a perfectionist who demands everything to be neat and tidy, and now, we all know how ‘folded’ fitted sheet always end up looking, don’t we? It almost always end looking pretty much like a pile. But, what the heck is Squasheet? Well, it is a fitted sheet, but with some ingenuity, it negates the need for folding; instead, it stuff into itself, turning into a decorative throw pillow that you can use it on your couch, bed or wherever, until it is finally ready to be deployed. Absolutely brilliant!
Seriously, it is hard to imagine our woes of folding fitted sheet has finally come to an end. And I never thought it will end, like ever. I always loathe the process and whenever I was at it (folding fitted sheet), I wish it would end. I guess my dream just came true, eh? But, while brilliant, Squasheet is no rocket science. It is essentially a regular bedsheet with a pillow case strategically stitched to it that will allow the sheet to be squashed into the case (squashing + sheet, get it, get it?). When used as a fitted sheet, the now-empty integrated pillow case becomes a large bed-side pocket for whatever you want to stash. Like, how cool is that?
The sheet itself is made from ultra-soft, wrinkle-free brushed microfiber textile, and therefore, you should have no worries about super creased sheet when it is time to spread it out. Moreover the fabric is allergens-free, machine washable, and fade and stain resistant. Israeli family Dvash, who is the brainchild behind this simple and yet fabulous product, has taken to Kickstarter where you can secure this innovative fitted sheet with a pledge of $27-78, depending on how soon you act on it, the size and the quantity desired.
As always, like any Kickstarter campaign, Squasheet will only realize if the campaign meets its set funding goal within the campaign period. So, if you love what you see, perhaps you may want to consider giving the product a push on Kickstarter. But it is your call, really. We are not affiliated in anyway; we just thought it is a brilliant product.
