There is exciting news for collectors of Star Wars helmets. A new Hasbro Stars Wars The Black Series Phase II Clone Trooper Premium Electronic Helmet has just joined the likes of the Darth Vader helmet, and the First Order Stormtrooper helmet.
First appeared in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones 20 years ago, Clone Troopers were far superior to battle droids by design and formed the backbone of the Republic Military of the Galactic Republic.
However, the Stars Wars The Black Series Phase II Clone Trooper Premium Electronic Helmet, as the name suggests, is based on Phase II Clone Trooper armor, not Phase I.
It was the helmet pulled straight from the standard issue Phase II Clone Trooper armor of the Grand Army of the Republic. The major difference is the fin on the top of the helmet.
Where the Phase I helmet has a prominent fin that resembles an aircraft’s vertical tail fin, the Phase II helmet is not fin-like.
The Stars Wars The Black Series Phase II Clone Trooper Premium Electronic Helmet is series-inspired, featuring highly detailed deco, adjustable fit, and electronic voice distortion which, at a press of a button, distort your voice to sound like that of the Phase II Clone Troopers.
Do not that the electronic gimmick is powered by one 1.5v AAA cell which is NOT included.
