Thor Ragnarok K-Drama Dub

I know. The odds of you being a K-drama, or Korean drama, fan in stateside is rather slim, unless you happen to be of Korean descent, or you are an Asia, but this, this video here, a scene from last year’s Thor: Ragnarok dubbed in Korean language, is hilarious. It is even more hilarious if you are aware of the 2016/2017 hit drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, popularly known as Goblin for short outside of South Korea.

Why? Because, the video features the dramatic scene cut reminiscent of the Goblin series, usually shown at the end credits (you know the part where producers, sponsors and such are credited? Yeah, that part). And oh yes, it has the hit song Stay With Me, originally performed by South Korean pop stars Chanyeol (EXO) and Punch, for the sake of completeness. OK, I admit. I do not speak Korean, but it sure feels like a Homerun to me.

Seamless, is what I was trying to say, or to be more precise, it is rather convincing that there should be K-drama Marvel movie. Nah, just kidding. You seriously don’t expect Marvel movies to include corrupted prosecutors, evil billionaires, super handsome dudes and ladies with godly beauty, do you? Nope, nope, nope. Still, the video is a minute of fun.
