If you still blame Hot Rod (who later became Rodimus Prime) for the death of Optimus Prime, then this officially licensed Transformers Heroes of Cybertron Tankard might not be your cup of Energon. This 15 cm collectible drinkware features not one, but two Primes: Optimus Prime and his sometimes-controversial successor, Rodimus Prime.
And no, it’s not two separate designs—it’s all packed into one gloriously geeky tankard. On one side, you’ll find a 3D sculpt of Optimus; on the other, Rodimus. Beneath each sculpt are iconic Transformers phrases like “Autobots, roll out,” “One shall stand, one shall fall,” and “Bah-weep-Graagnah weep nini bong” (aka the universal greeting), all rendered in Cybertronian text.
Another highlight that will have fans’ eyes lit up is the Matrix of Leadership-inspired handle. In case anyone’s wondering, yes, that is the Matrix affixed vertically to the mug. Rounding out the design is a flashy gold-and-metallic color scheme that pays homage to Cybertron’s Golden Age.
