Here’s a good news for super fan of Transformers. The now classic 1986 animated Transformers movie, Transformers The Movie, is getting a re-release in time for the movie’s 35th anniversary (not to be confused with the 30th anniversary edition).

This time the movie will be presented in a collectible steelbook (not the first time, btw) and in 4K UHD + Blu-ray. So, if you have been asking for eye-popping visuals for this arguably the best Transformers movie of all time, well then, you wish have been granted.
According to Blu-ray.com, Transformers The Movie 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray will be released in August 2021. Price is not known at this point, though.

The 84-minute film will come as a 2-disc set and offered up by Shout Factory. Pre-order is expected to start on May 24 (Monday) on Shout Factory shop, but it will also be available from other online retailers like Amazon.com.
However, super fans may want to look at the Shout Factory option as it will include an exclusive lithograph.
