if underwater videography is your kind of thing, then you would be glad to know that such hobby’s equipment need not to be cumbersome and expensive. certainly not if you have the Uwater HD3X underwater camera. under its minimalist aluminum body is a 5.0-megapixels sensor that is capable of HD 720p video recording at 30 fps and features water resistance up to 30 meters (98 feet). other notable features of this sleek bullet-like camera includes a single button operation, built-in rechargeable battery, and storage in the form of a 32GB memory card. more juices is available through the addition of an optional battery extension and improved underwater visibility can be achieved by adding the Uwater DX Extreme Light. speaking of which, the latter features up to 100 meters water resistance and it’s CREE LED light illuminates up to 2700 lumens of brightness. other highlights include triple action rotating tail activation switch, radial heat sink technology, 9mm luminous polycarbonate lens, and a beam range 825 to 3100 feet. the Uwater HD3X underwater camera is set to retail for $200, while the DX Extreme Light has a starting price of $185. the duo will make their public debut at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas next week, along with two other active lifestyle cameras, the Uwater HD55 ($250) and the Uwater HD77 ($250) all-weather camera. these new products are slated to hit the stores in March. click through for a few more look at these new Fitness Technologies’ products.
