Airbus ACH130 Aston Martin Edition Helicopter

To be clear, Aston Martin is not making helicopters. The marque does have a vision of a flying car, but that’s for the future. For now, the ACH130 Aston Martin Edition is as close as you will get to a flying Aston Martin.

However, Aston Martin has no part in the ACH130 Aston Martin Edition’s engineering. That’s Airbus’ job. For its part, the automaker has its hands on the non-engineering designs which sees the special edition of the ACH130 helicopter getting a range of four interior and exterior designs produced by Aston Martin.

By exterior, we do mean the external liveries. Expect to find Aston Martin signature elements, including the iconic wings, around the rotary wing aircraft and of course, luxurious appointment as you would have expected of an Aston Martin.

Finally, each Airbus ACH130 Aston Martin Edition Helicopter will have a plaque included on the instrument panel, showing the partnership logos, the edition number and even the owner’s name – if so desired.

The Airbus ACH130 Aston Martin Edition Helicopter is available on request with deliveries expected to take place from Q1 2020. Interested parties can hit up Airbus Corporate Helicopters for more information.

Aston Martin is most certainly not the first automaker to collaborate with helicopter makers. We recall, Mercedes-Benz has done it as far back as 2011 and Peugeot did the same, also with Airbus, in 2015.
