There’s a photographer in all of us. If not so, why else would smartphone makers keep turning out amazing camera on their devices? However, for some, it takes more than a smartphone camera to satisfy their need to capture amazing images and for that some people, here’s a bag, ALPAKA SHIFT, that will take you from office straight into the outdoor and with the gear you need for an amazing outdoor amateur shoot. Oh, you have a drone like the Mavic Pro? Well, fret not. ALPAKA SHIFT have your drone covered too. SHIFT is not your run-of-the-mill backpack.
It features a unique roll top that offers flexibility in capacity a modern day, urban-dwelling homo sapiens need. It has a vertically-oriented front-panel for quick access to the main compartment and there’s a padded lower compartment for your camera kit, or a folding Mavic Pro drone, or if you desire, a pair of boots, while ensuring it maintaining the ability to stay upright on its own. There’s an integrated laptop compartment too, capable of swallowing a 17-inch laptop and it is modular by design, thus allowing utility pouch, water bottle holder and such to be added when required.
Other notables include a cleverly conceived hidden pocket for valuables, a luggage sleeve on the back for easy handling when lugging along your suitcase, and finally, padded straps, combined with a shock-absorbing suspension system, ensures all-day comfort. ALPAKA, the Australian startup, has taken to Kickstarter to seek exposure and hopefully, pull in some funds to get SHIFT into production. It is offered in two colorways on Kickstarter: weatherproof coated nylon in black and a high-end faux wool in blue and grey, and can be yours to own with a pledge of $159-189.
