This Cup Noodle model kit is part of Bandai Spirits’ Best Hit Chronicle series, which includes a 2/5 size PlayStation SCPH-1000 console and a 2/5 size Sega Saturn. I guess the Cup Noodle kit does make the console model kits not weird at all.

The Bandai Best Hit Chronicle 1/1 Cup Noodle Model Kit, which was created in collaboration with Nissin Foods, was chosen as the next Best Hit Chronicle as it was widely recognized as the greatest invention of the 20th century.

Assembly is required to recreate the dried out noodle which realistic appearance was the the result of 3D scanning of the actual noodle. The plastic version of the ingredients are also recreated with the help of 3D scans.

The iconic cup, which has remained unchanged for 50 years, also requires assembly too – including the quintessential branding on the cup. Rounding up the design of the kit is a lid with all the details as appeared on the actual, edible product, and a seal.
