When we talked about home movie theater, movie theaters like the custom Dark Knight home theater and the one that’s Pirates of the Caribbean-themed, costing millions of dollars, comes to mind. Well, the good news is, it is not necessary the case as proven by one Donovan AKA The Beardless Man. It is just a matter of thinking out-of-the-box, really. As far as Donovan is concerned, the idea of movie theater is a tablet and the only question remains is, how to create a movie-themed ‘theater’ that the kids can watch their favorite movies whilst lying down, handsfree.

In a lightbulb moment, The Beardless Man reckoned that a Millennium Falcon will be cool, but he won’t be crafting the entire freighter though; instead he cobbled up what looks like part of the Millennium Falcon – specifically, the cockpit section, and thoughtfully included a built-in tablet holder at the ‘bow’ so that when the half-shelled Millennium cockpit is place vertically, facing the ceiling, the kids can lay on their backs to enjoy whatever movie that they want to watch. And yes, it is just half of the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit and while so, it is still quite some work required to build it.
