It seems like the arrival of the fourth Evangelion movie, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, is imminent. Well, it was not to be. Official words from Studio Khara were out last month that, due to the COVID-19 situation in Japan, the film will be delayed indefinitely.
The final film of the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy was originally planned for released last June, but it was pushed to January 23, 2021, due to the pandemic. It is now on hold as Japan government declared a state of emergency in the country earlier last month.
この度の緊急事態宣言の発出を受け慎重に検討を重ねた結果、感染拡大の収束が最優先であると判断し、1月23日の『シン・エヴァンゲリオン劇場版』公開を自粛し、再延期を決定致しました。

The state of emergency was to last up to February 7, but it has since been extended to March 7. Though it was reported that the government is reviewing if some areas can exit the state of emergency as early as next week (as of February 10).
Whatever the case may be, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’s release date remains to be advised. On the bright side, the Shin Ultraman, which is also produced by Studio Khara, looks to be on track for release in the Summer of 2021. However, the exact date is not given.
Meanwhile, have a look at the said Ultraman video embedded below as well as check out the Shin Ultraman official website [JP] for more information and follow Shin Ultraman’s official Twitter account for future updates.
