a money clip is a money clip. nothing out of the ordinary, not unless it is one coming from knives and multi-tools specialist Gerber. the Gerber GDC Money Clip is for any gentleman who wish not to bulk up their pockets and yet have the essentials to pick up the tab, plus a little survival or self-defense tool. on one side, a metal clasp holds up five credit cards or some cash to handle your day-to-day financial transactions, and on the other side is a discreetly concealed 1.75-inch fine edge stainless steel blade that blends in seamlessly, if not beautifully, with the money clip’s 3.7-inch body.

the 1.75-inch blade (we are obliged to call it ‘cute’, really) features a finger slot with serrated thumb rest for maximum grip and the blade itself is of titanium nitride coated steel body. it also boasts a super-cool G-10 front plate, a large engrave-able area ready for any personalization touch and eye-catching anodized aluminum accents. all told, it is a package that makes the cutest thing a man could ever carry, while weighing in at a mere 2.9 oz. or about 82 grams. the real kicker here is, it is as affordable as any sleek money clip out there, costing just 30 bucks a pop.
