thanks to the two 2,000W brushless motor, LEIF Electric Freeboard can swiftly speed up to 20 miles an hour and can even zip uphills. keeping the brushless motors juiced are 18 3.6V lithium phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries which is good for up to a range of 8 miles per charge and takes just 60 minutes to charge to full. sounds good? well, we think so too, but there’s catch though. the LEIF Electric Freeboard is not yet in the market. the folks behind this awesomeness needs your help to make it a reality by backing the project up on Kickstarter, where you can get the first production run of the LEIF Electric Freeboard for $1,299, or $1,399 if the early bird special runs out. however, it will only materialized if the project reaches it set funding goal in the next 9 days. yes. it has been there for a while. shame on us for only discovering it now.
