no. what you see above is not a cartoonize Lexus. it is the Lexus LF-NX Crossover Concept, a vehicle that Lexus will be using to explore the “potential for a compact crossover within the Lexus model range”, but regardless what the Japanese luxury automaker says, we can’t really see any compactness in it or at least that’s not what the massive grill is telling us and we highly doubt we will be seeing one of these on the road in near future. if it did, we sure it is going to scare the sh*t out of anyone who’s looking from their rearview mirror. the gigantic Lexus spindle grill most certainly had our attention, alright. so Lexus, you had all our attention for now. specifics are not known at this point other than it is a hybrid vehicle powered by a tune-for-SUV Lexus Hybrid Drive system, but that lack of details don’t quite matter at this moment cos’ all our attention is on the aesthetic of this futuristic beast-like vehicle.
from its side profile, the Lexus LF-NX Crossover Concept appears to have narrow windows and an oddly deep body, dressed in an aggressive bodywork. other known features include an expressive (more like aggressive to us) signature front lighting with independent Daytime Running Lights, flared wheel arches in black protective finish for that urban crossover look, articulated lamp clusters, a decidedly sci-fi like brushed metal silver body finish and an equally futuristic interior glowing in bright blue hue from its advanced electronics (touch-sensitive electrostatic switches and all), bathing its dark colored interior. the Lexus LF-NX Crossover Concept will be making its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, happening from September 10 to 22, 2013 at Messe Frankfurt. hit the jump for a few more look. be warn, this look is not for everyone.
