What you see here is a life-size LEGO model of The Child aka Baby Yoda from Disney+’s The Mandalorian. It is the latest to join LEGO’s growing list of life-size pop culture icon sculptures that include evergreen characters like Mickey Mouse to Han Solo in Carbonite to life-size replica of the McLaren Senna supercar – just to name a few.
The life-size LEGO model of The Child was created to celebrate season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+. The sculpture, which comes complete the space age “stroller”/carrier, is made from 14,588 LEGO bricks and took 3 LEGO master builders 119 hours to build.
The completed model measures 57 cm (22 inches) tall. Unfortunately, it is not for sale. But there’s always the super cute LEGO 75318 The Child set that, while not life-size, looks a lot more adorable.
