If you are a fan of multiple anime or cartoon franchises, then Prime 1 Studio is here to make you very broke. Also, you’re gonna need a bigger house too. Earlier this month, Prime 1 Studio revealed a bunch of new products at its NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XIII: AGE OF TITANS AND MACHINES. The entire presentation is unnecessarily long, stretching over two hours. But I will save you the agony of watching a chapter-less video of the presentation. Don’t get me wrong. It was a great video, but I doubt fans of Batman will stick around to watch Evangelion statues.

The announcement covered many popular IPs, including Transformers, One Punch Man, Evangelion, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Batman, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Ghost in the Shell, Death Stranding 2, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Harry Potter, God of War: Ragnarok, The Witcher, Aliens, Predator, Darkstalkers, GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2, Pacific Rim, Valhalla Rising, and more. I counted at least 23 IPs, but I may have missed some. Anyhoo, it’s a lot. Prime 1 Studio could have broken it into chapters so fans of a particular franchise could jump straight to it. That would be way more efficient than scrubbing through the video.
Part of why the video is so long is the unnecessary chattering and filler, IMHO. Honestly, I never got past the half-hour mark. Prime 1 Studio seems to have forgotten that we live in an age of short attention spans (thanks, TikTok!). To make things worse, you have to sit through multiple ads along the way. I’d say it could have had more views if not for the length, multiple ads, and lack of chapters to jump to what interests the viewers.

Some of the highlights include a Genos statue from One Punch Man, a Kaworu Nagisa figure, the EVA pilot who is also the seventeenth Angel, a stylized EVA Mk. 06 statue by Josh Nizzi, and a stylized bust of EVA Unit-01—also reimagined by Nizzi. Josh Nizzi also reimagined the Fourth Angel, making it even more sinister and fearsome. Rounding out the Evangelion lineup are two Chibi Evangelion Test Type-01 small statues.
There are two Transformers statues: Megatron Overlord and Optimus Prime Zero X—both designed by Nizzi. For Attack on Titan, there’s Eren Titan and Armored Titan. There’s no classic Batman, but there are sinister versions, including Batman: The Berserker, King Batman Who Laughs, plus Mr. Freeze. The list is mind-bogglingly long.
If you’re a massive pop culture fan, Prime 1 Studio will make you broke and probably force you to find a bigger house. You can check out the entire list HERE.
