even though the Range Rover is a SUV, wait… or was it a hatchback? never mind. it does not matter, what matters is, if you want to gun for more power, then look no further than the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic. quite mouthful, isn’t it? but rest assure that mouthing the name will be worth it. fitted with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit, the Dynamic yields 285 PS or 281 hp, which is a good 41 ponies over the ‘regular’ counterparts, while torque sees a 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) increase to 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). this new-found power is transmitted to the wheels via a 9-speed ZF transmission, coupled to Land Rover’s active driveline technology for improved traction, agility and fuel efficiency.
handling is further enhanced with upgraded suspension geometry, firmer spring rates and re-calibrated adaptive dampers, while large 350mm front brake discs and Torque Vectoring by Braking ensure sure-stopping power and also reduces understeer on low- and high-grip surfaces. with the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic it also gets the Land Rover InControl which enables vehicle-optimized smartphone apps to be displayed and controlled with their original aesthetic and feel right from the vehicle’s touchscreen display. though it is worthy to note that connection between your mobile device and the vehicle’s touchscreen is via USB cable and not wireless.
