I am sure you guys remember the groundbreaking, Flagship Transformers Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Programmable Advanced Robot from Robosen Robotics and Hasbro collaboration. It was an impressive piece of high-tech toy, isn’t it? It sure is but here’s the thing: what is Optimus Prime without its trailer and trusty Roller?
I’d say incomplete. It would just be Optimus, IMHO. There’s no Prime in it. But that changes today. Folks, meet the Robosen Robotics Flagship Trailer Kit, the Transformers Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Trailer and Roller set that will make last year’s Flagship Transformers Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Programmable Advanced Robot a true Optimus Prime.
Modeled after the beloved original G1 design, the Robosen Robotics Flagship Trailer Kit stretches an impressive 3 feet (0.914 meters) long and auto-converts into a battle station by folding open and pivoting upwards to shield and expose its massive firepower, an articulating sentry blaster.
The Trailer packs over 2,000 components, including 18 servos and 60 microchips, to achieve robotization, and it is complete with taillights for added realism.
The trailer is accompanied by Optimus’ trusty Roller with human sidekick, Spike, onboard, which you can remotely control with an app to complete the experience. Like its Masterpiece toy’s counterpart, Optimus Prime’s blaster can be mounted on Roller to boost its firepower and support.
You can connect your Transformers Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Robot (sold separately) with the Trailer and control it via app or voice. Using voice, you can swing open the trailer’s doors to reveal the automatic lift gate on which Roller can drive up and down.
Of course, Optimus Prime can tow the Trailer too – thanks to the integrated fifth wheel coupling that easily attaches while operating in the truck mode for a swift and realistic connection.
Moreover, the trailer can go into battle mode while in tow by the Autobots’ leader, allowing the sentry to deal with pursuing Decepticons.
This is a programmable toy and as such both Optimus Prime and the Trailer can work in sync to achieve combat and defensive positions.
The Robosen Flagship Optimus Prime Trailer Kit is a strictly limited production item that comes with a protective storage case for ease of transportation if that’s what you need to do.
