Without George Lucas, Star Wars would not have existed. For the joy that this man has brought to the geek’s world, he deserved to be immortalized as one of the characters that he had created. And as one of the characters he had created is what Hasbro just did.
The toymaker pays homage to George Lucas and his remarkable accomplishments in the film industry with a likeness of the director himself in the most iconic foot soldier of all time, the Imperial Stormtrooper.
Unlike regular Stormtrooper action figures, the helmet is a separate accessory in order to show off the legendary director/producer’s head sculpt.
In addition to the helmet which little Lucas can hold between his waist and forearm, the 6-inch Black Series figure also comes with an Imperial Stormtrooper standard-issue blaster.
I’d say this figure is a must-have for any Star Wars collection since George is, after all, the father of Star Wars. Without his out-of-this-world ideas, our lives wouldn’t have so much joy.
And yes, this action figure is very real. The US$26.99 action figure was revealed by Hasbro on the 30th and already, the pre-orders are all out. You may want to check with other online retailers if they have any to order, or you could wait for it to hit the shelves on January 15, 2022.
