WESN has been known to make some seriously sleek pocket blades, but this time, they’ve added a bit of hocus pocus. Meet The WESN x 1ST Puzzle Box & Microblade, a collaboration with YouTube magician and puzzle wizard Chris Ramsay. It’s part knife, part mechanical mind-bender, and 100% collector bait.
The magic starts with a hefty block of brass and anodized aluminum, aka the Puzzle Box. It’s not just for show; it’s a multi-step, hands-on mechanical puzzle that clicks, shifts, and locks with that deeply satisfying tactile feel—like a fidget toy for grown-ups with taste. Solve it, and voilà: inside lies a reimagined WESN Microblade with a transparent brass front handle that lets you peek into its mechanical soul.
As for the knife… think micro but mighty. It’s got a tool-grade D2 steel blade, titanium back handle, frame lock mechanism, and enough style to make other EDCs look like gas station giveaways. Closed, it measures just 2.25 in (5.7 cm), opens to 3.75 in (9.5 cm), with a 1.5 in (3.8 cm) blade—perfect for slicing boxes or impressing your puzzle-loving friends.
Both the knife and box echo each other’s design language, down to the translucent elements and engraved logos. Together, they form a set that’s equal parts EDC, collector’s item, and dopamine delivery device.
