Have you watched the second season of the anime Ultraman on Netflix? If you do, I bet the new Ultraman Suit Taro has caught your eyes and possibly enamored you. I know it did for me and so I’m pretty pumped that there is going to be a collector-grade action figure for it: the ThreeZero FigZero 1/6 Ultraman Suit Taro (Anime Version).
The ThreeZero FigZero 1/6 Ultraman Suit Taro (Anime Version) is based on the suit’s appearance in the anime Ultraman season 2, now streaming on Netflix. However, it does not appear to have an alternate head sculpt of the unmasked Kotaro Higashi.
The figure, which stands around 31 cm (about 12.2 inches) tall, boasts over 52 points of articulation and features a detailed paint application and decals, die-cast zinc alloy and other metal components, and LED light-up features in the eyes and the Color Timer on the chest.
In the show, the man behind the newest Ultraman suit is a journalist with an impossibly strong sense of justice and is literally on fire – due to a twist of fate. The suit kind of help him harness that fiery power of his and hence, this collectible also comes with several fire effect parts for recreating the fire-spewing out of his chest and back, as well as him conjuring up the fire in his hands and shooting it.
Also included is the Ultra Badge, which is essentially a Transformation Item, and multiple interchangeable hands – including one right hand for holding the Ultra Badge.
The ThreeZero FigZero 1/6 Ultraman Suit Taro (Anime Version) is available for pre-order, priced at US$149, for shipping in Q4 2022.
