Illustrator/toy designer QUICCS, who has turned Soundwave into a DJ, Megatron into a graffiti artist, and G1 Bumblebee into a hip hop/rap artist, has turned Optimus Prime into a boombox-toting rock-out Prime. The Transformers x QUICCS: Optimus Prime is the fourth and concluding piece in the Transformers x QUICCS series.
The Transformers x QUICCS: Optimus Prime is a must-have for serious fans of G1 Transformers because not only Optimus is in it; the said boombox he has on his shoulder is actually Autobot Blaster in his boombox mode which I thought is pretty cool.
Like the previous three in the collection, the Transformers x QUICCS: Optimus Prime is of vinyl material and measures 8 inches tall and 9.5 inches across (about 20 cm by 24 cm).
It has a limited edition run of just 500 copies worldwide and it will be in stock and ready to ship when it officially launches on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, at 9 AM ET. The asking price is US$249.
