But it never profess to be a jack-of-all-trade, but it is enough to do handle most things, including popping open a cold one, whittling wood, general cutting, fastening screws – just to mention a few. Nothing fancy, really. It is just the essentials and if we may add, essentials that oozes with style. It has a 440c heat-treated stainless steel blade in a choice of gray black or titanium coating and sandwiching it is a choice of handle in hardwood, carbon fiber, or glow-in-the-dark fiber reinforced nylon. It is a simple, functional tool that with the looks that won’t disappoint.

And perhaps equally important is, it is compact and lightweight (it weighs just 1.9 ounces or 55g) and it is designed with an ergonomic for one-handed operation. You know how sometime less is more? Well, I guess the Wootz EDC is a good example. If you are as impressed as us, you may want to consider joining the 1,395 backers who have helped pull in over 44,000 euros on Kickstarter to pre-order one. For a modest pledge amount of at least 19 euros (around US$24), you’d be securing yourself a unit destined for July 2018 delivery. Pro tip: if you drop €39 (about US$48), you will be bagging yourself 3 units. Don’t say we did not give you the heads up on this.
