Almost a year on after the Hot Toys introduced Spider-Man figures based on Marvel’s Spider-Man video game, it is still at it and this time, it is the web-slinger in his Scarlet Spider Suit – one of the many suits available in the video game. What makes this figure stands out is the focus on the superhero’s fun side, expressed through a series of accessories like a smartphone, a camera, a donut and a pizza box with pizza, complete with a removable slice.
This latest wall-crawler 1/6th scale collectible figure is inspired by Scarlet Spider Suit from the Marvel’s Spider-Man video game and bears many features to shout about, including a newly developed masked head, a newly developed Boyd, a tailored sleeveless hoodie with detailed Spider-print on both sides, utility belt and Web-Shooters, interchangeable hands, a bunch of other accessories, and a dedicated figure stand, featuring the game logo, character name and backdrop.
And did we mention that it is a 2019 Toy Fair Exclusive? Yep. It sure is. As with most of Hot Toys 1/6th scale collectible figure, the Hot Toys Marvel’s Spider-Man Spider-Man (Scarlet Spider Suit) figure stands approximately 30 centimeters (12 inches) tall and has 30 points of articulations. It is expected to land sometime in Q3-Q4 2019. You can secure yourself a unit now by pre-ordering from various Hot Toys retailers, including Sideshow which is selling at $251.
If the game version ain’t your cuppa, Hot Toys has also announced a Spider-Man Movie Promo Edition 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure based on the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home movie which will be available also in Q3-Q4 2019. However, it is not clear when it will be available for pre-order.
