Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam

Thinking of decluttering your tabletop? If so, Lenovo may have something for you. The Lenovo Go Desk Station is a webcam, a USB hub, and a wireless charger, and it is a desk lamp too. All these functions are cleverly integrated into a beautiful, minimalistic, and yet somewhat futuristic design.

How’s that for decluttering? I thought it is pretty smooth. Most people would need a desk lamp and a USB hub since we have limited ports for today’s thin and light laptops. The Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam offers both and a few extras, making it a true decluttering gadget.

As a USB hub, it offers one USB Type-C input (up to 135 W), one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C (65W passthrough power output for charging laptop), one USB 3.1 Type-C (20 W power output), two USB 3.1 Gen Type-A (5 Gbps), and an HDMI 2.0 (4K/60Hz with HDR support).

Here are some configurations of the Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam.

The Lenovo Go 4K Pro webcam included is removable. It is a 4K/30 fps camera that supports a 90, 78, or 65-degree field of view and boasts auto-focus, HDR support, auto-framing, and auto ambient light adjustment. Completing the feature list of the webcam is a privacy shutter and of course, built-in micro, albeit a mono variant.

As for the light, the arm is adjustable in height and it can rotate too, offering a myriad of configurations. In addition, you will be able to choose from three color temperatures. At the base where the bunch of the ports is there is a secret compartment that you flip out to reveal a 15 W wireless charging pad.

The 4K webcam can be removed and repositioned.

Pretty cool, right? I mean how is it not cool when it has so many products covered with one gadget? I thought it is super cool, well, except for the price. It will run you back at US$329 when it becomes available in March 2023.
