However sophisticated and modern today’s automobile is, you will find yourself in need for a flashlight. And if you don’t already have one, then may we introduce to one handsome little fellow called Luxtarr.
I know right. It’s kind of classy looking. Certainly not the kind of flash light you’d expect. Not only it makes for a handy automotive accessory, but it is good for outages, and it is also excellent companion for the great outdoors too.

As far as brightness goes, Luxtarr claims to be bright (80 lumen, if you want to be specific) enough to be visible from as far as 30 feet (a little under 10 meters) and it has three switchable light modes (solid, strobe red and SOS) to boot.
Luxtarr is also super lightweight, tipping the scales at mere 3.4 oz (about 96g) and comes with a built-in rechargeable 1,000 mAh battery. I think nicest touch, as far as design goes, is the genuine handle that can be adjusted to let you carry Luxtarr vertically like a lamp or horizontally. Small, but no less thoughtful design touch.
If you are sold by the idea, you may want to consider making a pledge on Kickstarter for a unit. Kickstarter is where you can score this for 36% off its eventual retail price, at US$25. Last checked the campaign is funded and so, backers will just have to wait for it to be fulfilled sometime in August 2020.
