Fans of Ghostbusters who can’t enough of the new Ghostbusters, Hasbro has a list of products to coax the bills out of your wallet. Running up to the release of the proper sequel to the 1984 comedy horror flick, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Hasbro has revealed a slew of toys.
These toys and games include a NERF Mini-Puft Popper that shoots Mini-Pufts-inspired “marshmallow” projectiles (cute!), a CLUE: Ghostbusters Edition board game, Plasma Series Ghostbusters: Afterlife 6-inch action figures, Fright Feature 5-inch action figures, and a remote control RC RTV Ghost Trap.
Obviously, all of the products are inspired by the upcoming film, scheduled to the hit the theaters on a new date, November 11, 2021. The film was originally scheduled to be released in July, but the pandemic kind of ruined it.
As far as the Plasma Series action figures go, it will include new-gen Ghostbusters Lucky, Trevor, Podcast and Phoebe, along with the new figures of Peter, Raymond and Winston as the older versions of the characters from the first film. So, yes, 3 of the surviving casts of the original is in the new movie too – that’s if you don’t already know.
Each 6-inch figures will include a Build-A-Ghost piece that can be combined to form a Sentinel Terror Dog figure:
The new Hasbro Ghostbusters toys will arrive this Fall, with prices ranging from US$10.99 to US$41.99. Fans can secure these toys by pre-ordering them from Hasbro Pulse and from Entertainment Earth.
