This is the Bumblebee Segway Gokart Pro Limited Edition, the second product from the Segway and Transformers collaboration announced in March. If you ask me, the Bumblebee Segway Gokart Pro Limited Edition, which is based on the Segway/Ninebot Gokart Pro, definitely makes more sense than the Megatron scooter. Thanks to the color and the generous surface area offered by a go-kart, Bee-themed Gokart looked more like its namesake.
Though it does feel like they have just taken the Ninebot Gokart PRO Lamborghini Edition and added some Transformers graphics. Anyways, the yellow paint job is definitely an eye-catcher that directs your attention to the Cybetronian motifs and the Transformers branding.
The presence of Bumblebee on the Bumblebee Segway Gokart Pro Limited Edition is mostly by the way yellow and black colorway. However, it does have the character’s name on the sides of the seat, and on the right side of the front shield, plus there is an image of Bumblebee’s head, above a line of Cybertronian characters, around the back of the go-kart.
Like Megatron, you will get a certificate of authenticity in the form of a plaque. And no, it is not transformable. However, it is a functional go-kart that boasts 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) of peak torque (that, btw, is a lot more than some motorcycles), maxes out at 23 mph (37 km/h), and offers an exhilarating 1.02G max acceleration has a 15.5 miles (25 km) range, and it is capable of tackling up to 15% hill incline.
In addition to the Race Mode which offers a 23 mph top speed, there is a Sports Mode, a Regular Mode, and a Safety Mode, which tops out at 17.4 mph (28 km/h), 11.2 mph (18 km/h), and a very safe 4.97 mph (8 km/h), respectively.
This being a Segway Gokart means the front end is a detachable self-balancing transporter which you can remove to use as, well, a self-balance transporter. There is of course app integration. The Bumblebee Segway Gokart Pro Limited Edition can accommodate a range of heights, ranging from 4’ 3” to 6’ 3” (1.3-1.9 meters).
