Cartoon/anime-theme clothes are no longer just for kids. Not only that, it has been inducted into high fashion for a while now. We have seen quite a handful of late, including Lowe’s collab with Studio Ghibli, and Gucci x Doremon – just to name a couple. Now, we heard the man who turned cartoon clothes into a multi-million retail success, Bobby Abley, is doing the same for Transformers too.
Not going to lie. We are pretty stoked about this collab because Bobby has been a fan of Transformers from a young age and we know he is going to make it look super cool. And from the product images, it looks to be the case. Of course, the stylized designs may not be for everyone. Anyhoo…
Be prepared to embark on an epic journey of fashion and fun as this collaboration takes the iconic Transformers visual identity and gives it an artistic twist with a dose of high fashion. It’s like Optimus Prime decided to trade in his armor for a snazzy new wardrobe!
With four decades of pop culture dominance under its belt, the Bobby Abley x Transformers collection will deliver a knockout combination of elevated sportswear, must-have jersey classics, and tailoring that’s so sharp it could cut through Decepticon schemes (hopefully!).
From embroidery to quilting to knitwear, this collection has it all. Bobby Abley has sprinkled his creative magic by crafting a series of Transformers-inspired prints, including Transformers-themed daily wear (because Autobots need a break too) and pop art straight out of a comic book. These prints are like the witty one-liners from Bumblebee, adding a dash of fun to the entire collection. Get ready to dress up and roll out in style!
The Transformers x Bobby Abley Collection will be available from Bobby Abley’s website in the coming weeks. However, pricing has not been announced.
