In 2021, Robosen Robotics shook up the Transformers fandom with the world’s first-ever auto-converting Transformers toy, the Robosen Optimus Prime. Then the company did it again with an auto-converting Optimus Prime trailer that makes the 2021 unit whole and shortly after, a lighter and smaller version, known as the Elite Optimus Prime, was introduced this year.

Though it isn’t real gold and isn’t as shiny as the toy from a few years ago, it is still super cool anyways because the gold-painted auto-converting Optimus Prime is sure to remind fans of The Golden Lagoon episode (Season 2, Episode 27).
The gold-painted Elite Optimus Prime is not it. There is a Grand Prize which is the Flagship Edition Optimus Prime. While the Grand Prize does not have a gold paint job, it has something far more valuable and collectible to any true fans of the franchise: it is signed by Peter Cullen, the iconic voice of Optimus Prime.
