The promotion for the long awaited new Evangelion movie has been nothing short of relentless. There’s a bunch of them, including canned coffee, turning a resort town into Tokyo-3, apparels for ladies, a new mobile game, and more. And now even Curry House CoCo Ichibanya is on the Evangelion hype train.
Curry House CoCo Ichibanya has announced that it will be giving away a scooter decorated with Evangelion Unit 01 graphics (featured image) in a sweepstakes. This is, of course, only valid for Japan’s residents, unfortunately.
If you qualify, all you have do is to retweet this tweet. We don’t know how many people will be onboard for an Evangelion-themed scooter, but I am guessing the odds are pretty low in hitting the jackpot.
That said, you are better off getting the toy version (pictured above), which is guaranteed with 900 yen spend on a single meal in-store at Curry House CoCo Ichibanya. If you spend over 1,800 yen, you will walk away with two.
Moreover, there is a bunch of other prizes up for grab, including Evangelion t-shirts, towels, wireless charging pad and pouch, chubby Evangelion figures with background art, original campaign wallpaper for smartphones, and meal vouchers.
To qualify for the Evangelion goodies, you will have to upload your receipt to the Curry House website or app. However, now that Japan has declared a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not sure how this is going to play out. In any case, the campaign was planned to run between April 6 and May 25.
