And if you think the host clamp bracelet is outrageous, wait till you hear about its latest fashion accessory: Balenciaga Tape Bracelet.
The Balenciaga Tape Bracelet, as the name implies, is a bracelet in the likeness of a roll of adhesive tape. It shares a similar size and aesthetic as a roll of 2-inch 3M Scotch clear adhesive tape. At a glance, you may think that it is a roll of 2-inch Scotch tape until you notice it is exceeding clear. Clear enough to let you see the Balenciaga underneath the “tape”.
The “tape” is obviously not actual adhesive; it is a hunk of clear material that is supposed to mimic a roll of tape. This controversial fashion accessory is part of the fashion label’s Fall/Winter 2024 which debuted at the Paris Fashion Week. So how much is for this luxe Scotch tape wannabe? Well, there are no official words yet. There was a report that said that some people claimed it would be priced around €3,000, which is around US$3,269.
